Our human rights advocacy objective is mainly realized through sensitization trainings for the LGBTIQ community and sex workers about stigma and discrimination. Hope and Care also works with LGBTIQ people and sex workers who experience discrimination and violence to document the violations so that the victims receive a fair trial and the government authorities can better understand the human rights violations faced by the LGBTIQ and sex worker communities. Hope and Care continues to look for opportunities to reach a larger audience, we have worked to implement our human rights programming along with our sports programming. We believe in the importance of combining community development, human rights, and sports. We run sports trainings while also implementing our Sport and Recreation (play for change) program that works with our members to teach them about human rights.
